An Elon Musk biopic is in development at A24 with Darren Aronofsky on board to direct, Variety has confirmed.
Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of the controversial tech mogul, which was published in September, will serve as the basis for the screenplay. Isaacson’s “Steve Jobs” book was previously adapted into the 2015 Universal film of the same name, starring Michael Fassbender as the Apple CEO.
Sources tell Variety that there was heated competition to option Isaacson’s book from studios and filmmakers alike, with A24 ultimately winning the bidding war. Aronofsky, who most recently directed last year’s Oscar contender “The Whale” starring Brendan Fraser, is known for his surreal filmmaking style, which often includes psychological elements. His past credits include “Requiem for a Dream” (2000), “Black Swan” (2010) and “Mother!” (2017). For his work on “Black Swan,” Aronofsky was nominated for the best director Oscar, while Portman ended up winning the best actress award.

Cord Jefferson didn’t always know he wanted to be a director. While working on Netflix’s comedy series “Master of None,” actor/writer/creator Aziz Ansari asked Jefferson out of the blue if he ever wanted to direct. Jefferson recalls, “I said, ‘No, I’ve never been to film school, I don’t know anything about cameras or lighting. I don’t think that’s for me.”
But Jefferson says Ansari’s response “planted the seed” for what would be a catalyst for him to tackle his directorial debut, “American Fiction,” based on the novel “Erasure.” “He said, ‘Dude, I went to NYU for business. I never went to film school. I’ve just been on sets and paid attention. All you need to do is hire people who understand the technical stuff and then be able to articulate what’s in your head.”

A Manhattan civil jury found in favor of Robert De Niro’s former assistant Thursday, ordering his film company Canal to pay her more than $1.2 million for her gender discrimination and retaliation claims.
De Niro was not found liable for damages. His counter-claim against the woman, Chase Robinson, was dismissed.
“We are delighted that the jury saw what we saw and returned a verdict in Chase Robinson’s favor against Robert De Niro’s company, Canal Productions,” her attorney, David Sanford, said in a statement. “Not only did Ms. Robinson win her case against Canal but the jury completely vindicated Ms. Robinson by finding De Niro’s claims against her to be without merit.”
De Niro had sued his longtime personal assistant first, in a preemptive strike against her claims that he made her do demeaning domestic tasks, including inappropriate things like helping him button his shirts and scratching his...

As evidenced in its title, music plays a big part in “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.”
In the prequel to the original trilogy, “West Side Story” star Rachel Zegler portrays Lucy Gray Baird, the female tribute from District 12 for the 10th annual Hunger Games, who hails from a musical and nomadic people called the Covey. The film features Zegler singing several songs, including franchise favorite “The Hanging Tree.” Much of the music is folk-inspired, and Zegler sang each track live during filming. At the film’s London premiere — which came one day after SAG-AFTRA reached a tentative deal with the AMPTP to end the actors strike — Zegler told Variety who inspired her when it came to developing Lucy Gray’s voice.
“We channeled a bunch of people: Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton and Joan Baez, to name a few. That was really the voice that we were trying to find,...

Hollywood is ready to dust off the red carpet.
After months-long dual labor strikes that prevented top actors and screenwriters from promoting their projects, star power will finally return to premieres, panels and other splashy events. It’s a huge relief for once-struck companies because too many major movies, like Sony’s starry Game Stop-stock comedy “Dumb Money” and Martin Scorsese’s big-budget crime epic “Killers of the Flower Moon,” haven’t lived up to box office expectations without Pete Davidson, Seth Rogen, Leonardo DiCaprio or Robert De Niro on the late-night and talk show circuit. Studios and networks wasted almost no time celebrating the news that A-list talent can once again promote, promote, promote to the heavens.
At 12:03 a.m. — approximately two minutes after the 118-day SAG strike ended — Netflix issued an updated invitation to include the cast for the Los Angeles premiere of the final season of “The Crown” on Sunday.

Jared Leto is nothing if not an entertainer that goes all-in with a big swing — and Thursday morning may have been one of his biggest yet, as he climbed the Empire State Building.
As “Today” exclusively reported in the video above, the “Dallas Buyers Club” Oscar winner and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman got, well, closer to Mars while becoming the first person to legally summit the top of the Empire State Building.
Speaking with Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, Carson Daly and co., Leto admitted after his descent that the journey was “very, very hard. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.”
“Just the endurance that it took, the stamina that it took — and it was very sharp,” he added.
The feat marked an impressive — albeit random — world record, as the 51-year-old Leto became the first person to legally scale the nearly 1,300-foot heights of the iconic building in midtown Manhattan.

Zac Efron has heard the news about Matthew Perry wanting to cast him in a biopic about the “Friends” actor’s life, and Efron would be “honored” to do it. The “High School Musical” and “Baywatch” actor spoke to People magazine on the red carpet for A24’s “The Iron Claw” and called Perry a “mentor” figure in his life. The two actors starred together in the 2009 teen fantasy comedy “17 Again.”
.”I’m honored to hear he was thinking of me to play him,” Efron said. “We’ll see. I’d be honored to do it.”
“He was a mentor to me, and we made a really cool film together,” he continued. “I looked up to him, I learned comedic timing from that guy. I mean, when we were filming ’17 Again,’ it was so surreal for me to look across and have him be there, because I’ve learned so much from him,...

Kel Mitchell, co-star with Kenan Thompson of the upcoming Good Burger 2 comedy, is back home and recovering after a “genuinely frightening time” in the hospital earlier this week.
Mitchell did not identify the reason for the trip to the emergency room nor the nature of his illness or injury in an Instagram message posted late last night.
“Grateful for the flood of prayers and positive vibes that surrounded me during a genuinely frightening time,” Mitchell wrote. “The scare was real, but so was the support. With the grace of God and the skill of the medical team, I’m now on the road to recovery at home, embraced by the love of my family. Your kindness has been a lifeline, and I can’t thank you enough. Much love to each of you.”

If you're Dominican, chances are you're familiar with morir soñando, a simple but refreshingly crisp batida (milkshake) made with milk, orange juice, and vanilla extract. As simple as the three-ingredient drink seems, there's a reason it's given such a poetic name. "Morir soñando" translates as "to die dreaming," and after just one sip, one instantly feels like they've been transported into a dream - even if just for a matter of seconds. That was exactly the feeling Dominican American comedians and real-life besties Sasha Merci and Glorelys Mora, who both grew up in uptown (Merci specfically in the Bronx), wanted audiences to feel when they created their first all-Dominican comedy show back in 2019. On Monday, Nov. 6, the Morir Soñando show took over the historic United Palace, formerly Loew's 175th Street Theatre, in Washington Heights. It was the first show in the New York Comedy Festival to include an all-Dominican lineup,...

On Nov. 2, a brand-new Beatles song called "Now and Then" hit streaming services. It features contributions from all four of the band's members, in spite of the fact that John Lennon and George Harrison died decades ago.
Almost as highly publicized as the song's existence itself is the fact that it was made possible thanks to AI, which was able to split John Lennon's original 1977 demo of the song into individual tracks that could then be mixed and mastered. That work, oddly enough, is one of the more straightforward contributions that AI has made to music so far.
Look around the internet for long enough, and you might stumble upon Lana Del Rey singing Phoebe Bridgers's "I Know the End," Kanye West covering Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me," or Drake rapping to Ice Spice's "Munch." You might also find a...

Valerie June's work can feel like it's being beamed in from somewhere both far off and strangely familiar. That might be because from a young age, she's been channeling wisdom from the world around her, using it to inform her music, then her poetry, and now an innovative new kind of guided journal.
The artist, who is known for her spirituality-infused roots- and blues-tinted folk, has now turned many of the steps on her own decades-long healing journey into a new book called "Light Beams: A Workbook For Being Your Badass Self" ($20), which was released on Sept. 19. It's an interactive book filled with spells, prompts, reflections, and tips on finding peace and connection in a world that can seem dead set on fostering conflict and disconnection.

It's that time of year again! On Nov. 8, People crowned this year's Sexiest Man Alive, Patrick Dempsey. If you're wondering how the publication makes its choice, according to People's former Editor in Chief Dan Wakeford, the magazine makes its selection not only based on a celebrity's looks but also their overall demeanor.
"Being sexy is about being decent, intelligent, funny, and talented," Wakeford previously told CNN. He added that someone "who creates buzz" is a requirement and that sometimes who they're in a relationship with may give them bonus points.
As Dempsey joins this exclusive club, take a trip down memory lane by seeing all the past winners, including Chris Evans, Michael B. Jordan, Idris Elba, David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth, Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, and more.

"Gossip Girl" tells the story of a bunch of wealthy Upper East Siders (and a few Brooklynites) as they deal with drama, romance, and chaos in the Big Apple. The show, which ran from 2007 to 2012, also happened to make much of its young cast into huge stars. Blake Lively, of course, starred as Serena van der Woodsen on "Gossip Girl" and has since gone on to be a prominent A-lister. Penn Badgley, who played the seemingly innocuous Dan Humphrey, now stars as another seemingly harmless (but very murderous) character on the hit show "You." Meanwhile, Taylor Momsen, who played Dan's little sister Jenny Humphrey, transitioned from television into a successful music career after leaving "Gossip Girl"; she currently fronts the band The Pretty Reckless.

Millie Bobby Brown dazzled fans everywhere with her performance in "Enola Holmes 2," which premiered on Netflix on Nov. 4, 2022. Still, the movie left fans with one major question: will there be an "Enola Holmes 3"? It seems like the odds are pretty good, because on Nov. 7, Collider reported that a screenplay for a third installment was in the works.
The news came via an interview with the head of Netflix Film, Scott Stuber, who also praised Brown's performance. "You know, she's such a great homegrown star for us," he told Collider of Brown. "I mean, obviously, 'Stranger Things' is huge for us in that, and watching her grow as an actress . . ." He also hinted at a possible third Enola Holmes movie. "The Holmes IP is weirdly elastic. Showtime's "The Curse" stars Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder as two newlyweds who attempt to launch a house-flipping HGTV series in the town of Española, Nm. However, their show, and their efforts to start a family, become complicated by the presence of what might just be a curse.

From HGTV's "Flip or Flop" and "Property Brothers" to Netflix's "Tiny House Nation" and "Dream Home Makeover," it's clear the public has a never-ending appetite for renovation and real-estate-related television. Aida Osman may be just beginning her acting career, but she's no stranger to the entertainment world. The Nebraska native stars in Issa Rae's "Rap Sh!t" as Shawna - one half of the show's central rap duo and a character she helped create specifically for herself. Before her TV debut, Osman started out as a writer on Netflix's "Big Mouth" and HBO's "Betty," also serving as a cohost on the "Keep It!" podcast. However, Osman's gig on her HBO Max show isn't her first time flexing her creativity.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2018, Osman built a following on Twitter a year later from a funny viral video of her rapping about . . . err, pegging. From there, her career took off as she booked her "Big Mouth" job almost immediately after, per Vanity Fair.

Taylor Swift is certainly no stranger to the Recording Academy. Over the span of her successful career, the singer has managed to rack up 46 Grammy nominations and 12 wins. In fact, she actually took home album of the year when she was only 20, making her the youngest winner of the award in the show's history.
And that's not the only record she holds. In 2016, she became the first woman to win album of the year more than once for her own solo recordings, and in 2021, she became the first woman to win album of the year three times with "Folklore"'s big win.
The 33-year-old scored four nominations at the 2023 Grammys, including song of the year, best music video, best song written for visual media, and best country song. Though she didn't take home any awards, see Swift's long list of wins ahead.

Flavor Flav is in his Swiftie era. The rapper has formed a surprising yet wholesome bond with Taylor Swift, cheering her on through one of her busiest years to date. Their budding friendship seems to date back to March, when Flav attended the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards proudly wearing a shirt that read, "I come back stronger than a '90s trend," in reference to Swift's "Willow" lyrics. When asked about his outfit choice on the red carpet, he told Billboard, "Love me some Taylor Swift, man, always did." The pair wound up crossing paths later that evening and captured the selfie seen 'round the world. They've been charming the internet ever since.
Flav has consistently shown support for Swift following their first in-person meetup. He spent a not-so-cruel summer attending two of her Eras Tour concerts - and yes, he dressed up in on-theme outfits and traded friendship bracelets with fellow Swifties.

Emma Stone has been one of our favorite actors since she burst on the scene in movies like "Superbad," "Zombieland," and "Easy A." But did you know the "Poor Things" star is also a mom? She and husband Dave McCary welcomed their first child in 2021, not long after their quiet wedding in September 2020. The pair, who first met in 2016 when she hosted "Saturday Night Live," have always been pretty private about their personal lives and their daughter, Louise Jean.
Stone, 35, opened up about her thoughts on building a family in a 2018 interview with her friend Jennifer Lawrence for Elle. "My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older," Stone explained. "I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.

"My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older," Stone explained. "I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.

The "Shameless" cast have an adorable friendship that has lasted long past the show's final season. The main cast have frequently shared photos of their hangouts online over the years, and they seem to enjoy celebrating holidays together to this day. On Oct. 26, Cameron Monaghan, Ethan Cutkosky, and Emma Kenney - who played Ian, Carl, and Debbie Gallagher, respectively - all appeared together in a TikTok video, seemingly enjoying a Halloween celebration. Kenney dressed as Kris Jenner and captioned the video, "They just got Krissed." Meanwhile, Cutkosky seemed to be dressed in a chef's uniform, a possible reference to his "Shameless" costar Jeremy Allen White's character on "The Bear."

Emma Stone is pretty private when it comes to her personal life. She doesn't have public-facing social media, she very rarely makes public appearances with husband Dave McCary, and she's never shared any photos of her 2-year-old daughter, Louise. Still, fans do know quite a few things about the "Poor Things" actor's dating history before she tied the knot with McCary, who's a writer and producer.
Perhaps Stone's most high-profile romance was with her "The Amazing Spider-Man" costar Andrew Garfield. Garfield starred as Peter Parker in the superhero films, while Stone played Peter's love interest (and fellow science genius) Gwen Stacy. They first met on set in 2010 and were spotted out and about in late 2011.
They ultimately split in 2015, though it seems the pair are still friends who have a lot of admiration for each other. In 2017, Garfield told Vanity Fair's "Little Gold Men" podcast, "We care about each other...

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are one of our favorite low-key couples. The pair, whose engagement was confirmed in March 2022, are also parents to a toddler they welcomed last year.
Back in July, Hiddleston and Ashton made a rare public appearance at the Wimbledon men's final, where they happened to sit in front of Ariana Grande and Andrew Garfield. Shortly after, Ashton explained to Entertainment Weekly that Hiddleston gave her great advice when it came to joining him in the MCU. Ashton stars in this November's "The Marvels," and Hiddleston, of course, has appeared in the Marvel films for years as Loki.
"It led to some incredible conversations about his experience being part of this franchise for over a decade," Ashton told EW about joining the franchise with Hiddleston. She said that he gave her practical advice, like making sure her costume has "enough zippers to go to the bathroom.

Shawna and Mia are finally getting their first taste of fame in "Rap Sh!t," though they're still fighting for a spot on their own tour. In this exclusive sneak peek at season two, the estranged high school-friends-turned-rap duo (played by KaMillion and Aida Osman) get good news from their manager, Francois (Jaboukie Young-White), regarding their first-ever tour - but there's a catch. Despite their viral success and thousands of presale tickets, the pair are informed they can't perform their biggest hit, "Seduce and Scheme," because of their tour mate, headliner Reina Reign.
"That is not on the set list," he tells them and their other manager, Chasity (Jonica Booth). He adds, "We really only got room for 'Tongue,'" referring to their remixed track with Reina.
Confused about the lack of stage time, Shawna asks, "What, they can't give us 10 minutes? We have two songs."

Jennette McCurdy hasn't always made space for her more difficult feelings.
"I realized I had so much judgment around my emotions, which just made it more difficult to actually accept them and process them," she tells Popsugar. "I had so much self-loathing around difficult emotions because of thinking that there were only a few acceptable ones. I thought, 'You're supposed to be happy and grateful all the time. That means you're a good person.' So I would just pretend to be that, and if I felt anything else, I'd punish myself."
Over the years, the author, whose raw and powerful memoir, "I'm Glad My Mom Died," has spent more than 60 weeks as a New York Times bestseller since its publication in August 2022, has realized that berating herself for having strong feelings didn't exactly work for her. Now, she's making space for her emotions in a...

Britney Spears's memoir is both a horror story and a cautionary tale. There's a lot to take away from it, but at its core, it's a story about a woman whose bodily autonomy was essentially stripped from her at a young age - by her parents, by the media, by her partners, and by the world at large.
"The Woman in Me" is definitely Spears's story, but it's also a story that's been repeated in various forms many times before. After reading it, sitting in a state of semi-shock while digesting the horrors Spears went through, I found myself thinking of Andrew Dominik's nightmarish 2022 film, "Blonde," which portrays a dramatized version of Marilyn Monroe's life. That film arguably exploited Monroe's legacy and repeated some of the same mistakes it tried to criticize, but it also tells the story of a woman whose appearance was commodified...

Apple TV+'s "The Buccaneers" is based on an unfinished Edith Wharton novel of the same name. Its large cast includes Kristine Froseth, Christina Hendricks, Alisha Boe, and Mia Threapleton and traces a group of young, wealthy American women as they venture across the pond looking for high-class husbands in the 1870s, focusing on the clash between British and American culture and the lives of the young women of that era.
The show's protagonists and their lives are entirely fictional. However, their tale is based on a real phenomenon that occurred during the late 1800s and early 1900s, when many young American women, flush with new money, traveled across the sea in order to find aristocratic British men to marry. According to History, between the late 19th century and the 1940s, many American heiresses traveled to Britain, offering their wealth to British aristocrats who possessed status, class, and titles but...

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, Latanya Richardson Jackson, have been together for more than half of their lives. The couple began dating in 1970 shortly after meeting each other in college. They tied the knot a decade later in 1980 and welcomed their daughter, Zoe Jackson, in 1982. While many celebrity pairs have come and gone over the years, Samuel and Latanya have managed to overcome the odds and become one of the longest-lasting couples in Hollywood.
In a March 2022 interview with People, Latanya said she and her husband are in it for the long haul. "In the beginning, we always said the most revolutionary thing that Black people could do was stay together, raise their children with the nucleus of having a father and a mother, since everybody likes to pretend that that's not the dynamic of the African American family. Jacob Elordi has Elvis fans all shook up with his recent spin as the iconic American singer in Sophia Coppola's "Priscilla." The film, based on Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir, "Elvis and Me," takes a more grounded approach to the King of Rock and Roll, focusing on Priscilla and their complicated, sometimes enchanting, but sometimes dark relationship. But Elvis fans are burning to know - does Elordi sing in "Priscilla"?
Since the first trailer dropped for "Priscilla," the film and Elordi have been drawing comparisons to 2022's seven-times Oscar-nominated biopic "Elvis." In that film, Austin Butler donned the blue suede shoes and scored an Oscar nomination. Butler sang every one of Elvis's iconic songs used in the film, although for songs from Elvis's later years, Butler's vocals were blended with the original recordings. In the 2019 Elton John biopic, "Rocketman," Taron Egerton sang John's songs unaccompanied. The 2018 Freddie Mercury biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody,...

"Selling Sunset" has officially returned to Netflix for its seventh season. The beloved reality TV show centered on the LA-based real estate brokerage firm The Oppenheim Group hit the streamer on Nov. 3 with some familiar faces and fan favorites. Bre Tiesi, who made her first appearance in season six, is back again for the latest season, and her love life is still a topic of conversation.
In the season seven premiere, Tiesi claims during a dinner with her "Selling Sunset" costars that she hooked up with "Black Panther" actor Michael B. Jordan. Upon being asked, "Who would you sleep with, celebrity-wise? Who would you pick?," by Chrishell Stause, Amanza Smith replies, "Michael B. Jordan." Tiesi then responds by saying, "I could do that, and I've done that." Though Jordan has not confirmed or denied Tiesi's claims, the revelation has led many to wonder if the real estate agent actually did hook up with the actor.

Elvis Presley became an instant heartthrob when he rose to fame in the 1950s. Fans couldn't help but swoon over his sultry voice, natural on-stage charisma, and good looks. He even won over the hearts of so many women in Hollywood. In fact, he was known to be such a womanizer that several of his relationships overlapped.
Most notably, Elvis was in a 14-year relationship with Priscilla Presley, who was the only woman the singer ever married. The couple tied the knot in May 1967 and welcomed their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, in February 1968, before getting divorced in October 1973. Elvis and Priscilla's relationship has been at the center of many projects about the rock star, including the 2022 film "Elvis," as well as the new movie "Priscilla."

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are still going strong. The couple, who were first romantically linked in 2018, have been together for five years. Although they've mostly remained mum about their relationship, they have talked about each other a few times in interviews.
In February, Waterhouse referenced the "Batman" star by telling The Times, "I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years." The "Neon Signs" singer even teased their relationship was getting serious by admitting that she "can't wait" to have children. "I wish you could click your fingers to make it happen," she said.
So, how did they fall in love? Take a look at Pattinson and Waterhouse's relationship timeline in the slideshow ahead.

I don't remember the first time I watched "Elf." I do not think this is uncommon. Often, the most beloved Christmas movies are those that play on TV the most often, and "Elf" is certainly a cable staple. But that's not the real reason it's one of the best Christmas movies of all time. "Elf" is a magical mixture of earnestness and silliness, New York City and the North Pole, and a bunch of actors who give their massive talents to make a classic, eminently lovable film.
"Elf" was released 20 years ago, on Nov. 7, 2003. Directed by Jon Favreau and written by David Berenbaum, it tells the story of Buddy the elf, who is in fact not an elf at all but a human. Will Ferrell stars as Buddy, and it's one of his best performances. Ferrell often plays characters who aren't as smart as everyone else, but here, he does...

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian's whirlwind romance came as a surprise to most, but the very foundation of their relationship was building years before they began dating. The Blink-182 drummer and the Poosh founder met in the mid-2000s, when Barker was dating Paris Hilton, whose assistant happened to be Kim Kardashian at the time. "Kim was Paris's assistant," he told Us Weekly in 2015. "She got all of Paris's belongings together wherever we traveled."
Barker's relationship with Kourtney Kardashian was strictly platonic until things turned romantic during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. After making their relationship Instagram official in February 2021, the couple haven't been shy about showering each other with love and packing on the Pda.
In May 2022, the couple officially tied the knot, and a year later, Kardashian announced that she and Barker were expecting their first child together after months of IVF treatments. And now, their baby is finally here!

While this summer's "Love Island" saw Jess and Sammy take the crown, the unofficial queen of the show was arguably runner-up, Whitney Adebayo. The London-based Islander won audiences over with her no-nonsense approach to love and friendship, and is taking her new-found fame in her stride.
Not only is she determined to be her authentic self on her social channels, but she's rebranding her successful wig business, launched her own show on YouTube, and is still successfully in a relationship with fellow Islander Lochan Nowacki four months on.
"It's a big transition for both of us because we're very low-key," she tells Popsugar as we sit down for a chat to catch up on all things in Whitney's world. "We're basically on the same journey, but different journeys." Her bond with Lochan has proved any skeptics wrong, as the two often share cute social media clips as they navigate life outside of the villa.

If we've learned anything about Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker over the years, it's that he loves tattoos and his kids. With their rock-star dad in the spotlight for much of their childhood, Travis's older kids, Landon and Alabama, and their stepsister, Atiana, haven't had the most conventional upbringing. And this month, Travis and wife Kourtney Kardashian Barker welcomed their first child together, expanding the family ever more.
For his part, Travis has made it known since the beginning that his family is his number-one priority. The musician even bought a home near their school when he and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler were separating, so the kids would have a home base. Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes's newfound friendship is blossoming into something sweet. The new gal pals have gotten close fast since Swift's rumored romance with Travis Kelce seemingly began back in September, which is also when the girls' game-day hangouts started. Luckily for us, we've gotten front-row seats to their bond over the past few weeks.
The "1989" singer, 33, and the wife of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28, were first photographed together at the Chiefs's face-off against the New York Jets on Oct. 1. The duo cheered their men on from the stands as they stood next to stars like Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman. However, a source told People that Swift and Brittany also grabbed dinner the day before in New York City with Lively, Swift's other good friend Sophie Turner, and other girlfriends.
"They dined in a private room. Everyone had a blast," the insider said.

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler have a bond like no other in Hollywood. Their friendship dates back long before they costarred in "Murder Mystery" and its 2023 sequel on Netflix, as the actors first met at a deli and bonded over french toast in the early '90s. "We were friends before 'Friends,'" Aniston said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in 2019, reflecting on her and Sandler's initial hangout more than 30 years ago. "We must have been like real family in another life."
The longtime pals famously played love interests in 2011's "Just Go With It," and the following year, Sandler spoke at Aniston's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, cracking jokes and declaring, "I love this girl. My wife loves this girl. The entire world loves this girl." Since then, the pair have remained closer than ever, hanging out with each other's families and praising one another in interviews any chance they get.

Annie Murphy's career on screen began in the mid-2000s, and since her breakout role in the beloved sitcom "Schitt's Creek," she has had a number of notable roles in film and TV. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's baby boy is here! As People confirmed on Nov. 4, the couple welcomed their first child together more than four months after Kardashian Barker announced her pregnancy at Barker's Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles on June 16. The Poosh founder revealed the news by holding up a handwritten sign that read "Travis I'm Pregnant." (Popsugar was there to witness the exciting moment.) A few days later, the couple shared that they were expecting a son.
Ahead of their child's birth, Barker rushed home to California due to an "urgent family matter," Blink-182 announced on their Instagram Story as they postponed their European tour dates on Sept. 1. Hours before the news broke, Barker posted a series of photos on his Instagram Stories of him visiting a prayer room. The release of "The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes," the "Hunger Games" prequel, is just around the corner, and it's the perfect time to catch up on everything "Hunger Games" before the release of the film on Nov. 17. The prequel, which takes place 64 years prior to the events of the Hunger Games trilogy, follows the story of Coriolanus Snow (played by Tom Blyth) and his relationship with Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute and eventual victor of the 10th Hunger Games (played by Rachel Zegler).
The film will introduce new characters like Casca Highbottom (Peter Dinklage), the dean of the Academy, and Dr. Volumnia Gaul (Viola Davis), the head game maker. But the prequel will also feature familiar characters like Tigris Snow, Coriolanus's cousin, and one of the key characters that helped Katniss in the Capitol in "Mockingjay." Some capture the excitement of the holiday season with lyrics about having fun in the snow, spending time with family, and falling in love with someone new. They also touch on new beginnings, with spring just on the horizon.

There's no doubt about it: Ncuti Gatwa is having a bit of a moment. 2023 has been a big year for the Rwandan–Scottish actor, with the final season of his breakout hit show "Sex Education" hitting the airwaves right after he appeared alongside A-listers as one of the Kens in "Barbie." Now, he's well on his way to leading-man status, including an upcoming stint as one of the UK's most famous characters. Although his onscreen career is just getting started, he's already starred in a few very recognizable TV shows and movies. Here's everywhere you can catch him so far - and where he'll be appearing next.

In the past two years, Priscilla Presley's life has been back in the spotlight. Between 2022 and 2023, not one but two films were made with Elvis Presley as the subject: Baz Luhrmann's Oscar-winning "Elvis" and Sophia Coppola's "Priscilla" - the latter of which is based on Priscilla's 1985 memoir, "Elvis and Me." The film stars Jacob Elordi as the King of Rock and Roll, with Cailee Spaeny portraying Priscilla from ages 14 to 27, the ages she was romantically involved with Elvis. "Priscilla" is a personal and intimate look at Presley's early relationship with and marriage to Elvis, which has often been overshadowed by the late singer's fame. "It's very difficult to sit and watch a film about you, about your life, about your love," Priscilla said during a September press conference at the Venice Film Festival "Priscilla" premiere (via Variety). "Sofia did an amazing job.

Jharrel Jerome isn't hiding behind self-doubt anymore. It might be hard to believe the 26-year-old - the youngest to ever win an Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a limited series or movie - is anything less than confident, given the praise he's earned for his buzzy onscreen performances, which include the Oscar-winning "Moonlight" and critically acclaimed "When They See Us" miniseries. But the Bronx native has been admittedly hesitant to introduce his other talent: rapping. But now, he tells Popsugar, "I'm ready to move with confidence."
"I think it was definitely me telling myself as loud as I can that I really do enjoy this and that I want this at a young, young age."
Up until 2020, Jerome largely kept his rap ambitions under wraps, though he's been quietly sharing music on SoundCloud since 2016. The "I'm a Virgo" star built his Hollywood reputation with compelling TV and movie roles,...
